# Manual health metrics update

This early access feature allows you to manually trigger an update of the user's health profile, including recalculation of all [Health Metrics](docId\:mfrm6YjoqAS0HRPk4h__i). 

This is useful when you ask questions via your own interface, after the Face Scan, and submit them using our API. Since the user's health profile is only auto-updated upon finishing a Face Scan,  your question answers would not be taken into account until the user's next Face Scan.

### Steps

1. **Enable the feature**
   Contact your IntelliProve CSM to enable and configure this flow for your environment.
2. **Collect answers in your application**
   Ask questions in your own application after the Face Scan. Send the answers to IntelliProve via the [save question answer](docId\:BiuPVixvHltbukKLR2ATI) or [save multiple question answers](docId\:BiuPVixvHltbukKLR2ATI) API endpoints. An overview of all questions and corresponding lookup keys is shared by your CSM.
3. **Trigger a health profile update**
   After submitting answers, trigger a health profile update. This ensures the Health [Metrics](docId\:yEqwSkx81EJu_Z8N3DjhY)  are recalculated using the newly provided answers.
4. Fetch the updated metrics using [Health metrics](docId\:BiuPVixvHltbukKLR2ATI).
