The Face Scan is an optical measurement that uses your camera as a sensor to measure health parameters. To ensure accurate results, your camera needs to be of sufficiently high quality.

### Minimum requirements

**Camera Framerate**

The video frame rate (FPS) is essential for determining for ensuring accurate representation of the underlying physilogical signals extracted from the measurement.

- The minimum required **20 fps**. The **recommended value** is a recording frame rate of **30 fps.**

**Camera resolution**

The video resolution plays a vital role in preserving the necessary information about the blood volume pulse, which is essential for accurate measurements.
