Health Scan flow
Standard flow
IntelliProve's health scanning journey was crafted with maximum user experience in mind. It comes pre-loaded with all the necessary features to effortlessly guide the user through the Face Scan and results. The standard flow consists of distinct steps:
- Trust page: This page informs the user about measures taken to ensure their privacy. It is included in the Face Scan plug-in and Health App.
- Face Scan: Allows the user to perform the Face Scan to measure key health biomarkers. It is the core of the Face Scan Plug-in and Health app.
- Health Insights: After the scan, health insights can be visualised using our Health Dashboard plug-in, a separate component designed specifically to seamlessly and quickly integrate health insights into your platform. The Health app already comes preloaded with this health dashboard. Additionally, our IntelliWidgets can be used, or raw results can be fetched directly from our API.
The complete flow is described in more detail below.
This standard flow is included in our Health app. However, using our plug-in components and widgets, custom flows and variations to this flow can be easily created.
1. Welcome
The flow begins with the optional welcome page, where the user is introduced to the health check process and is provided an overview of the key steps involved. This page also addresses legal requirements by requesting the user's consent.
The welcome page is optional and can be disabled if you prefer to use a custom version tailored to your platform’s user experience. If you choose to use the built-in page, refer to the UI Customization page of our technical documentation to adjust its appearance.
2. Trust
Clear onboarding is essential for a high-quality measurement. During the user's first Health Check, a trust page assures the user their data is handled with care.
3. Face Scan
The Face Scan page is fully equipped to guide users through the Face Scanning process.
Key features include:
- Brackets and Face tracking, indicating where the user should keep their face.
- Real-Time Quality Checks: Color-coded indicators assist users in finding the optimal position and lighting.
- Onboarding Recap: Question-mark button to allow users to revisit instructions if needed.
- Start Button: Initiates the measurement.

4. User data
To keep users engaged and enrich Health Insights, IntelliProve may ask health-related questions after certain Face Scans. A smart system selects relevant questions based on measured biomarkers and trends in health parameters. These can be objective (e.g., age, sex, BMI) or subjective (e.g., perceived work-related stress).
This input allows building an accurate baseline profile for each user. Some details are also essential for calculating certain metrics, such as hypertension risk, which depends on factors like age, sex, BMI, and lifestyle habits, in addition to data from the Face Scan.
If you already have this data, we provide the option to provide it via the API.
5. Health Insights
Upon completing the scan, the Health Insights, including biomarkers and metrics, can be shown to the user. Use our dedicated Health Dashboard plug-in to get up-and-running quickly, or use our widgets for a more modular setup. For mobile apps or custom visualizatoins, our API can be used to access all biomarkers and health metrics.
