Device Requirements
this document defines the minimum technical requirements for end user devices to run intelliprove, including face scan and health dashboard general requirement specification device release date 2020 or later operating system latest stable version browser latest stable version camera the plugin relies on the browser mediadevices api ( getusermedia ) to access the front facing camera the camera must meet the following specifications requirement specification type front facing camera minimum resolution 1280 Γ 720 px (720p) minimum frame rate 30 fps lighting it is important to perform the recording in a well lit room a lighting of at least 300 lux is recommended as a commitment to maintaining a quality first approach, we refrain from delivering results when accuracy cannot be guaranteed due to unmet input requirements in such cases, the face scan plug in provides clear guidance on how to improve conditions or perform the measurement correctly if requirements still cannot be met due to factors outside the userβs control β such as slow internet or poor lighting β the plug in will let you know, allowing you to handle the situation gracefully browser the browser must support the following web apis api / feature purpose mediadevices ( getusermedia ) camera access for video capture websocket (wss) real time frame streaming to the backend postmessage api communication between plugin iframe and host page \<iframe> permission policy ( allow="camera" ) required for camera access within the embedded iframe compatible browsers (latest stable version recommended) google chrome mozilla firefox apple safari microsoft edge (chromium based) network a stable internet connection is required throughout the entire scan session the plugin streams video frames continuously to the backend via a websocket connection; an unstable or interrupted connection will terminate the session display requirement minimum viewport width 330 px viewport height 480 px permissions camera permission must be explicitly granted by the user in the browser if denied, the plugin presents an option to retry the permission request the measurement cannot proceed without camera access
