FAQ
Answers to common technical questions about Health Insights, the IntelliWidgets and the REST API.
Widgets
Can a widget show a specific scan instead of the latest one?
No. Widgets always show the most recent scan of the user; you cannot load a widget by face_scan_id. Earlier values remain visible: each widget shows how a value evolved compared to the previous measurement, and the Trends widget shows the full history.
Is there a versioned bundle with SRI hashes? Can I self-host the bundle?
We do not provide SRI hashes. Our CDN (multi-region edge caching) serves versioned bundles, so you can pin a version if you need to. We recommend using latest: we keep it backwards compatible, and a pinned version will miss security patches and bug fixes. Breaking changes would only ship in a new major version, which you will be notified of well in advance.
We advise against hosting your own copy of the bundle.
Action tokens and plugin
Can an action token be restricted to read-only?
An action token cannot update or delete face scans or user data. Those administrative actions are only available with the API key. See Rest API: Authentication for the full list of actions an action token allows.
Is the uuid always included in the dismiss event when hasResults is true?
Yes. When hasResults is true, the dismiss event always contains the uuid of the scan.
Can the completion screen with the Continue button be skipped?
Yes, IntelliProve can turn it off for your integration. Contact support and tell us what you want to achieve, so we can check that this is the best option for your flow.
REST API
How do I paginate GET /v2/face_scans/ beyond count?
Pagination is currently only available within the Trends web component.
What does DELETE /v2/users return if the user was already deleted?
204 No Content. The call is idempotent: deleting an already deleted user returns the same response.
Does the Trends widget show scans made before migrating to v2?
Yes, as long as you use the same external_user_id. The Trends widget shows all measurements of that user, aggregated per day, including those from before the migration.
Environments
Are the dev and production environments separated?
Yes. The dev and production tenant are completely separate environments. API keys created in the dev tenant cannot be used to read/write data in the production tenant, and vice-versa.
